ANDREW THAN KIP LUAI

Andrew Than Kip Luai is the inaugural commercial pilot from the Chin community. In 1961, Andrew received a government State scholarship to study aviation in England. Only six individuals were dispatched from Burma. He received his commercial pilot training at Airwork Services Training School in Perth, Scotland. He was the best student in his class.
